Inquiry on Proxmox and Nakivo Roadmap and Future API-based Backup Solutions

Also, I wanted to ask on the roadmap for Proxmox with Nakivo. If I need to sign an NDA I can do that as well. Are you guys planning on implementing the backup solution in a more API-based approach as opposed to the physical machine agent-based backup?
